- To create your account and show your profile to potential matches.
- To suggest compatible people near you based on your preferences.
- To enable messaging and other core features.
- To keep the community safe — including verification, moderation, and responding to reports.
- To send you notifications you have opted into.
Your choices and control
Your profile is only visible according to the visibility settings you choose — public visibility to search engines and non-members is always opt-in. You can edit or delete your profile information at any time in your account settings, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. Profile details you choose to show are visible to other members as part of the matching experience. We use trusted service providers (such as our hosting and infrastructure provider) to operate the service, and we may disclose information where required by law.
Data security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to notify you of significant issues.
Children
Tyekem is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
